چکیده

Poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) based composites loaded with 3 wt% of carbon black (CB), graphite (GF), and the hybrid CB/GF (1.5/1.5 wt%) were prepared by melt mixing tested as microwave absorbing material at X-band frequencies (8–12 GHz). The materials processed pressed 220°C into plates 20 × 0.1 cm3. Dielectric magnetic properties evaluated using wave-guide accessory to simulate reflectivity single-layered PVDF through impedance matching behavior. best achieved composite material, whose maximum radiation attenuation ?33 dB 9.3 GHz was predicted 4 mm thickness. Afterwards, sandwiched structures (20 cm2 in size) one-layer honeycomb core two measured. PVDF/HB-honeycomb-PVDF/HB structure reached reflection loss = ?12 (Ea 94%) on a broadband frequency. has promising future lightweight cost-effective for both telecommunication stealth technology.

Radar Absorbing Nanocomposites Based MultiLayered Graphene Platelets/Epoxy

Graphene nanostructures were synthesized by Hummer method. 1, 3, 5 and 7 wt% of graphene nanostructures were suspended in certain amount of acetone on a mechanical stirrer and stirred then added to epoxy resin. After 4 hours, solution and Graphene platelets (GPs) were prepared. Nanostructures were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM ), Fourier transform i...

Inorganic nanotubes reinforced polyvinylidene fluoride composites as low-cost electromagnetic interference shielding materials

Novel polymer nanocomposites comprising of MnO2 nanotubes (MNTs), functionalized multiwalled carbon nanotubes (f-MWCNTs), and polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) were synthesized. Homogeneous distribution of f-MWCNTs and MNTs in PVDF matrix were confirmed by field emission scanning electron microscopy. Electrical conductivity measurements were performed on these polymer composites using four probe t...

Photopiezoelectric composites of azobenzene-functionalized polyimides and polyvinylidene fluoride.

Light is a readily available and sustainable energy source. Transduction of light into mechanical work or electricity in functional materials, composites, or systems has other potential advantages derived from the ability to remotely, spatially, and temporally control triggering by light. Toward this end, this work examines photoinduced piezoelectric (photopiezoelectric) effects in laminate com...

Analysis of Frequency Selective Surfaces for Radar Absorbing Materials

Nowadays, applications of Frequency Selective Surfaces (FSS) for radar absorbing materials (RAM) are increasing, but it is still a challenge to select a proper FSS for a particular material as well as the dimensions of FSS for optimized absorption. Therefore, in this paper an attempt has been made to optimize the dimensions of FSS for microwave absorbing application using Genetic Algorithm (GA)...
